Donations can be made on-line at here, through the mail, or in person by stopping by our office at 4 Waldron Avenue. Your donation allows for the continued social justice work of UU FaithAction alongside, and on behalf of, UUs and our allies across the Garden State.
Here are a few of our legislative priorities for 2018/2019 that your kind donations will enable:
Criminal Justice:
- Socially just marijuana legalization
- Restoring voting rights
- Restricting solitary confinement
- Parole reform
Economic Justice:
- School lunch signature legislation
- NJ State Bank
- A fair and livable wage ($15 p/h)
Environmental Justice:
- Transition to clean vehicles
- Reduce plastic waste
- Oppose new fossil fuel infrastructure
- Maintain adequate water infrastructure
Gun Violence Prevention:
- Continue to support Saer communities through NJ GVP legislation
- Work with NJ legislators to strengthen Safe Storage of Guns bill
- Host December 2018 GVP leaders forum in Cherry Hill
- Recognize the 7th anniversary of Sandy Hook during the week of December 14, 2018
Immigration Justice:
- Support new legislation regarding sanctuary churches
- Funding for legal defense of immigrants
- Bail funds for immigrant detainees
- Wage theft legislation
Reproductive Justice:
- Access to reproductive healthcare
- Maternal health and mortality
- Sexual assault and reproductive health of incarcerated women in Edna Mahan Correctional Facility
- Confidentiality address for clinic staff and sexual consent curriculum in middle schools and high schools

All donations to the 501(c)(3) organization are tax-deductible. We also welcome donations to the (c)(4) lobbying arm, UU Legislative Ministry of NJ Public Policy Network. However, these donations are not tax deductible.
