This Friday evening The Racial Justice Committee of the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood will have an event,   “Dismantling the Racism Machine, An Interactive Performance”.  We are very excited to welcome Meta Theater .  We think it will be an interesting and thought provoking event.

MTC’s performances are original and written from the lived experiences of cast members.
Cast includes women inside/outside the prison walls, as we rehearse weekly at a women’s
prison in New Jersey. They work within a Transformative Justice model, and  utilize this model
to discuss issues and write work.

Karen Gaffney, author of Dismantling Racism will be at the performance.
