NJ PBS is proud to host a panel on the issue of Black Maternal Health in New Jersey. Joanna Gagis, Senior Correspondent for NJ Spotlight News, will speak to a panel of experts on the existing disparities and the work being done to achieve health equity for all.
In the fall, NJ PBS launched a new special news series taking a closer look at issues facing women in New Jersey – HerStory. Our next episode on June 1 will explore the issues surrounding black maternal health in the state, but also take a closer look at how this constellation of factors impacts women in all of our communities.
