Bravely Facing This Moment: Defending and Renewing Democracy
We are preparing a timely Symposium in which we will explore together both what it may mean to defend democracy from threats of authoritarianism and Christian nationalism, as well as what it may mean to renew democracy through richer practices of engagement. As such, we aim to balance the program between diagnosis of the current threats and practical guidance on how to live more democratically, even in the mundane and the everyday. And we won’t leave out spaces for worship as well as the sheer enjoyment of being together as a community.
