As an activist, you probably have ideas on actions the state can take to solve a problem in your community. So how do you turn passion into policy that results in meaningful change?
Join this training to learn the nuts and bolts of how activists can work with elected officials to introduce impactful new laws bills.
The Activist Training Program was launched in 2021 with the goal of providing free and nonpartisan public education and training on the knowledge and skills activists need to drive grassroots change and defend democracy.
LWVNJ offers training in 4 core areas:
- Understanding New Jersey Government
- Grassroots Organizing
- Voter Outreach
- Legislative Advocacy
These trainings are open to League members and members of the public who support the League’s mission and goals.
