Montclair Brewery will host the Fundraiser for Howe House on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
Tickets go to the purchase of the James Howe House, ensuring that this African American heritage is preserved. James Howe, the first African American homeowner in Montclair was manumitted by Nathanial Crane in 1831. His home is up for sale. We can’t lose this opportunity to preserve his story and tell his truth.
