The Africana Ethical Society meeting on Saturday, October 14, 2023, 3:00 PM Eastern will be a discussion on:
“Colonialism and the Doctrine of Discovery in Africa and Beyond” by Dr. Kole Ade-Odutola
Dr Kole Ade-Odutola is a Nigerian Yoruba poet, photographer, and academic. He has published several books of poetry, including The Poet Bled and The Poet Fled. He was critical in the founding of the Coalition of Nigerian Artists (CONA), which advocates the Nigerian government for better visibility of the arts.
In our usual follow-up discussion, we welcome the exchange of ideas. Your presence, thoughts, and perspectives are of the utmost importance.
