Dr. Sacks specializes in a number of areas, including bail reform, plea bargaining practices and prosecutorial power, sentencing legislation and sex offender policies.  I can speak about the era of mass incarceration, the causes and the effects as they pertain to communities and other areas.

She will be discussing, among other things, the root causes of over incarceration in New Jersey and the nation as a whole, the short and long-term effects–and what we can do to reform them.
