| Come explore what it means to be an ally during this time of urgent need within the LGBTQ+ Community on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in the Peierls Room. The training will be facilitated by Jahmila Smith from Garden State Equality. Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM with the Training to follow from 12:15 to 2:00 PM.
We will learn information about trans and non-binary identities, the state of trans and non-binary rights and infringements on these rights in NJ, how to handle different scenarios of oppression as an ally, and more.
Before attending this event, we ask that everyone please read this document, which provides some basic terms and information that will be helpful to be familiar with before the training.
