Preaching the Sermon: The Rev. Vernon R. Byrd Jr.
Rev. Vernon R. Byrd Jr. is the son of the late Bishop Vernon R. Byrd, Sr. and retired Episcopal Supervisor Theora Byrd. He is a child of the parsonage and attended schools in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Bermuda. He is a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia. He received his BA degree in Economics and Sociology from Harvard University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and his Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Please click here to read Rev. Byrd’s full bio.
A Community Choir
co-led by Music Directors at First Baptist Church and Nassau Presbyterian Church with participants from a range of faith groups will perform. Volunteers will arrive at 6 PM and rehearse before the Service. Click here to volunteer or for more info.
A freewill offering will be received, which will benefit the Coalition for Peace Action and Not in Our Town-Princeton.
