UUCCH to Host Border Trip

Through partnership with the Unitarian Universalist College of Social Justice and Borderlinks, UUCCH is planning an Immersion Learning Trip to the Arizona/Mexico Border in May of 2020. Our goal would be to experience the realities of the border, including both the deep injustices and the inspiring community responses to this ongoing crisis. 

• Five-day Journey, leaving on May 4 and returning on May 8.
• The cost of the trip is $1,040 per person, plus the cost of airfare. All meals, lodging and local transportation are included.
• Scholarships through the UUCSJ and personal donations from our congregants, families, and friends.
• All are welcome.

BorderLinks is UUCSJ’s main partner for this immersion journey program. The organization focuses on cross-border relationship-building opportunities, immigration issues, community formation and development, and social justice in the borderlands between Mexico, the United States, and beyond.
