UU FaithAction NJ joined with a wide coalition of NJ-based environmental groups to rally for offshore wind.

On Saturday, June 10th, representatives of our UU FaithAction NJ Environmental Justice Task Force gathered with numerous coalition partners to march, sing and shout in support of offshore wind!

2 days to go until we make a stand for clean energy in Long Branch at our NJ Wind Works Rally: Harnessing the Wind for a Lasting Renewable Future!

Did you know that slavery is still legal in New Jersey?

Our three FAIR leaders (from left to right: Cory Gregson/Summit, Zoe Laffler/Hunterdon Co. and Abigail Rabbitt/Newton) are graduating after three years of impressive anti-racism workshops and organizing among high school students in NJ and PA.

No surprise that all three have been hired as General Assembly Pittsburgh Youth staff—UU FaithAction NJ is so proud to have helped nurture their activism and UU identity!

The Reproductive Justice Task Force of UU FaithAction NJ is proud to be collaborating with Beacon UU and Fountain Baptist Church to sponsor a screening and discussion of the documentary BIRTHING JUSTICE.  We are proud to be a part of this interfaith collaboration, promoting community dialogue and advocacy around Black maternal health.

Are you, or do you know, a talented individual currently enrolled in bachelor’s or graduate program at an NJ college or university?  We are seeking an intern to help map, reorganize, and update pages on our website.  Our ideal candidate will be able to understand and articulate the UU FaithAction NJ vision and create web pages that reflect our core purpose.

Unitarian Universalists unequivocally support the right and access to abortion care for all. Our faith tradition calls us to advocate and fight for reproductive justice, and all reproductive health care, including access to abortion care, for everyone.

Our UU FaithAction NJ Annual Meeting will be May 20th, 2023, 10–11:30 AM.  The meeting will be conducted on Zoom.  All New Jersey UUs are encouraged to attend!
